Get to know the Check Mask Fit feature of the Philips DreamStation, a feature that will make using your CPAP easier.
The Check Mask Fit feature automatically tests the fit of your mask before use. The device measures air leaks to determine if the mask is properly fitted. Users can turn this feature on or off.
How to use the Check Mask Fit feature
1. Put on your mask properly.
2. Go to the My Setup menu > Check Mask Fit.
3. Press the rotary button to start the test. During the test, the machine will supply test air for approximately 40 seconds.
4. When the test is finished, look at the color bar on the screen.
✅ Green check mark = Ready to use
❌ Red cross = There is a leak, which may affect performance (but the machine can still work).
Use this feature every night before bed to ensure the best treatment results. 💙
